Krittika

Sun · Agni, the god of fire

Krittika is the only nakshatra that straddles two signs, beginning in the last degrees of fiery Aries and finishing in the first degrees of steady Taurus - a bridge between impulse and endurance. Ruled by the Sun and presided over by Agni, the purifying fire, it is a nakshatra of sharp discernment: Krittika natives cut cleanly through confusion, have little patience for dishonesty, and can be as warming as a hearth fire or as cutting as a blade, depending on how that fire is used.

• Anger, irritability and a short fuse under pressure
• Burnout from pushing too hard, or from ambition without rest
• Conflict with authority figures or difficulty accepting correction
